2 brothers die in Mandi mishap

Two persons were killed when the car, they were travelling in, collided with a stationary truck on the Chandigarh-Manali National Highway near Dador in Mandi district today.

The deceased were identified as Sushil Kumar (35) and Pankaj Kumar (23), both natives of Pehad village in Dharampur. Both were siblings.

According to the police, Pankaj lost control over the vehicle. As a result, the car collided with the truck. They were rushed to Nerchowk medical college but succumbed to their injuries.

“A case has been registered under 304 A, IPC, and investigation was under way to ascertain the actual cause of the death,” said a police officer.
