Solan, January 25
As many as 16 persons were injured when two buses collided at Dharja village on the Solan-Rajgarh road around 10 am today.
Additional SP Shiv Kumar Sharma said a PRTC bus and private bus collided head-on, leaving 10 men and six women injured near Dharja village this morning.
He said the police rushed to the spot after receiving the information to help the victims.
A case of rash and negligence driving had been registered against both drivers.
The cause of the accident was yet to be ascertained. All injured were rushed to the Regional Hospital, Solan, where their condition was stated to be stable.
The private bus was bound for Theog from Kasauli while the PRTC bus was on the way from Baru Sahib to Bathinda.
