1 killed, 1 hurt in Kangra road mishaps

Kangra, January 19

One person was killed and another injured in two different accidents in Kangra.

Additional SP Dinesh Kumar Sharma today said Deepak Kumar of Haada Shahpur was killed on the spot when the scooty he was driving dashed against a car at 39 Mile on Saturday. He said Deepak was reportedly driving his scooty rashly in wrong direction when the accident took place.

In another accident, one person was injured in a hit and run when his scooter was hit from behind at Bagotala. Scooter driver Kalyan Chand of Blaihad was injured in the accident. — OC
