Webinar 'Samvaad' conducted

Hisar: The entrepreneurship club in mentorship of the training and placement cell of Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar conducted a webinar 'Samvaad: Entrepreneurship success story'. A successful entrepreneur, CEO, MD and founder of Paushtik Milk Products Pvt Ltd DrUmesh Batra was the keynote speaker. Partap Singh Malik, director, placement, presided over the function. Keynote speaker Dr Umesh Kumar Batra shared his journey from initiating a small setup in 1999 to becoming a brand name today. He shared that while serving in CCSHAU, he made up his mind to start his own setup, through which he could generate employment for residents of his own village Daualatpur. He further said that initially he knew little about business practices, but gradually due to strong determination, he created a market for the products developed by his startup. He also shared challenges faced by him for arranging the funds also. He told the students that patience, consistent efforts and continuous innovations are the key mantras for a successful entrepreneur.

Sonepat: Having knowledge of constitutional values, and law will make the youth more aware of their rights and duties, so teachers should make the students aware of the constitution and moral values along with quality education. It was stated by the Governor of Haryana, Bandaru Dattatreya, in a conversation with Dr Viney Kapoor Mehra, Vice-Chancellor of Dr BR Ambedkar National Law University, Sonepat on Friday. Dr Mehra made a courtesy call on Governor at Raj Bhawan and apprised him of the activities of the university. The Governor said that today there was a need to make the youth aware about their rights and duties. With the knowledge of the rights and duties of the citizens, an ideal society will be established and the society will be crime free. He said in the National Education Policy-2020 also, the emphasis has been laid on constitutional and moral values. He said that in the context of legal education, the National Education Policy 2020 (NEP) clearly mentions that legal education in India has to be globally competitive, adoption of best practices and broader access and timely delivery of justice.
