Gurugram, June 12

Panic gripped BPTP mall in Sector 61 as the guards spotted a large spectacle Cobra in parking basement.

The staff was preparing to shut down operations when they saw the snake entering the mall around 9 pm. They raised an alarm and cornered the snake on fire exit stairs.

City wild life conservator Anil Gandas was called to rescue the snake.

The wild life conservator rescued the snake and later released it in Aravali.

According to Anil, the cobra was apparently living in an open green space area behind the mall and was hiding in the construction material till the mall was constructed.

He said the reptile must have gone inside the mall for shelter as the place was cleared after it was made.

He urged people not to kill reptiles.
