Haryana Home and Health Minister Anil Vij ordered SITs in murder and suicide cases while listening to grievances at his residence today.

Two siblings from Chandigarh informed the minister that their father had died by suicide on railway tracks and a note was recovered later blaming some people for the extreme step.

However, no action was taken by the Government Railway Police (GRP). The minister directed IG, GRP, to form an SIT to investigate the matter.

A Panipat resident informed the minister that his son was killed but the accused were not arrested. Vij ordered an investigation by a SIT in the murder case.

Similar complaints from Jhajjar and Nuh were reported following which the minister asked Hisar IG and Nuh SP to investigate the cases.
