Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij orders probe into death of schoolteacher

Home Minister Anil Vij today directed the DGP to get the death of a primary schoolteacher, who died after he was burnt alive in a car in Bhiwani, investigated from the state Crime Bureau.

Vij was redressing the grievances of people at his residence in Ambala Cantonment today.

Meanwhile, a woman, who had come from Bhiwani, informed the minister that her husband had died after being burnt alive in his car. She suspected conspiracy in the death case and alleged that the police were not taking action in the matter. Following the complaint, the minister directed the DGP, Haryana, to get the matter investigated from the state Crime Bureau.

Similarly, a woman from Karnal alleged police inaction in the murder case of her husband. She claimed that a murder case was registered by the police but only one accused was arrested while the remaining accused were yet to be arrested. The minister directed the SP, Karnal, to take action.

An elderly woman from Safidon complained to the Home Minister that her daughter-in-law had been harassing her since the death of her son. Vij directed the SP concerned to take action in the case.
