Two die while cleaning well in Palwal

Two persons died while cleaning a well in Bhulwana village of Hodal subdivision in the district last evening.

According to a report, the victims identified as Harikishan (50), who had gone to clean a well located in his fields got stuck into the swamp in the well while trying to pull out some weeds. Satpal (25), his nephew, who rushed for his help also got trapped inside the well. Though the residents who reached the spot managed to pull out both of them after about two and half hours and shifted them to a hospital, they were declared brought dead by the doctors. The incident has left the villagers stunned. The bodies were cremated today after a post-mortem examination. No case has been registered in this connection.
