Gurugram, March 2

While the autopsy report is still awaited in the murder case of a seven-year-old girl in Nuh, the alleged murderer has made a shocking revelation to the police.

During interrogation, the suspect has confessed that he had killed the girl after raping her. He was produced in a Nuh court today, which sent him to judicial custody.

The Nuh police had on Friday arrested a 27-year old man, Abbas, for strangling his 7-year-old niece to death and burying her in the fields 3 km away from his village in Doha.

An autopsy of the body was conducted today by a board of doctors. The report is still awaited but the suspect has already confessed to having raped the girl before killing her.

“During interrogation, the suspect said he lured the girl and took her to the fields. When he was raping her, she was crying very loudly. He pressed her mouth hard and she died due to suffocation. He buried the body in the same field and fled the spot. He was produced in a city court today and sent to judicial custody,” said the investigating officer.

According to the police, the girl went missing under suspicious circumstances on Wednesday afternoon after playing with other children at home. Later, she was found murdered after being raped by her uncle, who was arrested by the police on Friday.

After being told by Abbas about his crime, the police took out the body and handed it over to her kin today. “The autopsy is awaited but the suspect confessed that before murder, he had also raped the child,” said Inspector Aman Kumar, the SHO of Ferozepur Jhirka police station.
