Steps being taken to ensure drinking water, says Haryana Dy CM Dushyant Chautala

Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala today said steps were being taken to ensure drinking water supply, water drainage and proper sewerage under the Mahagram Yojana in 108 villages of the state.

“The villages combined have a population of more than 10,000. The state is taking measures so that the rural population does face any difficulty,” the Deputy CM said.

The Deputy CM was addressing gatherings at Dhand and Jadola villages in Kaithal.

Talking about paddy procurement, he said: “The government has taken steps to ensure hassle-free procurement and payments to farmers and arhtiyas within 72 hours,” adding that the government had decided to procure 13 crops at MSP.

Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar had also announced to the government school at Jadola village would be named after Shaheed Kehar Singh.
