Rohtak, January 16

Former Union minister and Congress general secretary Kumari Selja along with former minister Subhash Batra today reached the house of Rashtriya Jan Udyog Beopar Sangathan state president Gulshan Dang who joined the BJP in 2019, quitting the Congress.

“Selja came to my house under a special campaign aimed at bringing all former Congress leaders back to the party fold. Our three generations had been associated with the Congress, but I had to quit the party due to some reasons,” said Dang. Speaking on the occasion, Selja said people were fed up with BJP’s “misgovernance” at the Centre and in the state, hence they had made up their mind to oust it from power. “The BJP regimes have failed to provide employment to the educated youth, curb inflation and fulfil the promises made during the 2019 poll,” she added.
