Rehab centre comes up at Yamunanagar hospital

Yamunanagar, December 4

A 12-bed facility rehab centre has been set up at Mukand Lal District Civil Hospital, Yamunanagar. The centre was inaugurated by DC Parth Gupta on Friday.

The DC said the centre would coordinate with various NGOs and departments in curbing the consumption of alcohol and other drugs to achieve total prohibition as envisaged by the state.

SP Kamaldeep Goyal said the district police had started the drive ‘Sahi Rah’ to stop drug abuse in society. — TNS
