Recruitment rallies to be held under Agnipath
Rally in Hisar from Aug 11-25, Over 12K register
Chandigarh, July 20
Under the Agnipath scheme of the Centre, recruitment rallies will be organised across the state.
In Hisar, the rally will be held from August 11 to 25, following which rallies will be organised in Ambala, Bhiwani and Rohtak.
Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal said this today while chairing a meeting of the steering committee in regards to the preparations for 2022-23 Army recruitment rally.
The deputy commissioners of the Hisar, Ambala, Bhiwani and Rohtak attended the meeting via video conferencing.
The Chief Secretary said the nodal officers should be appointed in all districts to ensure that the rallies are conducted smoothly, adding that accommodation should be arranged for officials and applicants during the rallies.
In Hisar, 12,500 applicants have registered for the rally.
The last date to register for the rally is July 30.
