Presidential Election: MPs, MLAs of Haryana, Himachal sign proposal for Draupadi Murmu

Chandigarh, June 23

The MPs and MLAs of Haryana and Himachal Pradesh signed the nomination proposal for the nomination of NDA candidate Draupadi Murmu for the presidential election at Haryana Niwas here today in the presence of the Chief Ministers of both states.

Later, Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal Khattar, while interacting with mediapersons, said the CMs of the states had been called to Delhi tomorrow.

When asked about the results of the urban local bodies’ elections, the CM said he was grateful to the people who had elected the BJP and JJP in a majority of the civic bodies. He said we were moving ahead in the elections.
