Poll perfect time to get rid of govt: Kumari Selja

Giving a call for throwing out the BJP government from power, the AICC national general secretary and in-charge of Uttarakhand, Kumari Selja, today said the people were fed up with the misgovernance of the present government.

Addressing meetings organised during the Jan Sandesh Yatra at two places here today Selja claimed that inflation and corruption had hit the peak levels in the state. She also said the upcoming elections was the perfect time to get rid of the government that had failed on every front and was known for promoting corruption and scams. Claiming that Faridabad may be tagged as the Smart City in the files of the BJP government, she said it should be described as the scam city. Kumari Selja said the 10 years of the BJP rule had not only made the state and the country lag behind in matters of employment but had led to inflation, corruption, and industrial degradation.

The leaders owing allegiance to Hooda faction, including local Congress MLA Neeraj Sharma was not present in the programmes held at Old Faridabad and Ballabgarh today.
