Original articles sought for martyrs’ memorial in Ambala Cantt

Home Minister Anil Vij said if any person possessed any item related to the 1857 Revolution such as a rifle, gun, a pistol, a musket cartridge, a uniform, a sword, knives, badges, medals, documents, letters or correspondence, original newspapers, paintings of that period or maps, he or she could submit the same to the government to be preserved at martyrs’ memorial being built in Ambala Cantt. — TNS
