Nuh cops issued over 12K traffic challans in January

The Nuh traffic police issued over 12,000 challans and imposed a fine of Rs 1.25 crore on violators in January this year. The police also impounded 238 vehicles in the last month.

According to a spokesperson of the Nuh police, the traffic police issued a total of 12,326 challans from January 1 to 31 to the violators.

Of these, 4,763 challans were issued for changing lanes in the wrong way, 951 for wrong parking, 21 for making loud noise with motorcycles, nine for using tinted glass and two for speeding. Nuh SP Narender Bijarnia also warned mechanics against modifying silencers.
