Now, dera chief tests negative, still in hospital

A day after testing positive for Covid in antigen testing, Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh has tested negative in his RT-PCR report.

According to highly placed sources in the CMO’s office, he has tested negative in the report generated today.

Singh’s close aide Honeypreet reportedly visited him at Medanta hospital today and registered herself as his attendant. She has been handed an attendant card that is valid till June 15, revealed sources. But the hospital authorities continue to be mum.

Meanwhile, heavy police deployment has been made at the hospital as Singh’s followers have reportedly been making attempts to meet him. The hospital authorities too have stepped up security.

Singh was brought to hospital yesterday morning after he complained of abdominal pain.
