Kaithal development plan 2031 notified

The Haryana Government has issued a notification for the Draft Development Plan-2031 of Kaithal city. Now people can submit their suggestions and objections to the government within a month.

As per the new plan, four new sectors will be developed in the city, taking the number to 47. Kaithal bypass has now been included in this plan, said Anil Kumar, Narwal District Town Planner (DTP).

He said the beautification of the city as well as the development in a planned manner was the top priority of the plan. Residents can see the plan on the website tcpharyana.gov.in.

“Of total 12,040-hectare controlled area, 3,855 hectare is of urban areas, 199 hectare of rural areas and 7,986 hectare area is for farm activities,” he said, adding that the draft plan was yet to be published and if anyone wants to give their suggestions or objections, they could submit it in the DTP office within one month. The suggestions and objections can also be submitted in the DC office.
