Jagadhri doctor awarded gold medal

Yamunanagar, June 16

A Jagadhri surgeon and social worker, Dr Anil Aggarwal, was awarded gold medal by Governor Bandaru Dattatreya at a function held in Panchkula on Wednesday.

Dr Aggarwal, through the Red Cross Society, has rendered his services to society by organising free medical and blood donation camps. He has also performed more than 500 surgeries for free. He has been awarded 12 times by various Governors, and twice each by Union Health Ministers and Chief Ministers. He has also been honoured by the Director of PGI, Chandigarh, four times for performing successful extraordinary surgeries.
