Haryana Sports Minister Sandeep Singh felicitates Paralympians at Delhi airport

Chandigarh, September 3

Minister of State for Sports and Youth Affairs Sandeep Singh accorded a grand welcome to Tokyo Paralympics sportspersons at the Delhi airport. Singh reached the airport late last night to welcome the sportspersons, who were felicitated with garlands and shawls.

Those who were felicitated included Haryana’s Sumit Antil, who won gold in javelin throw; Yogesh Kathunia, who bagged silver in discus throw; Devendra Jhajharia, Sharad Kumar and team members accompanying them.

“It will be ensured that Paralympics sportspersons of Haryana get benefits under the new sports policy of the state government,” said the Sports Minister.
