Haryana Govt delivering benefits at doorstep of citizens: Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala

Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala said the state government had initiated a new tradition of delivering benefits of government schemes and services directly to citizens’ homes, thereby, discontinuing the practice of requiring people to visit offices.

Dushyant’s poster blackened

Some unidentified persons blackened the poster of the Deputy Chief Minister, Dushyant Chautala, and the state minister, Anoop Dhanak, at Badhawad village on Wednesday. The JJP workers had displayed a hoarding of the JJP with the photographs of the leaders. The hoarding was later removed.

Chautala made these remarks while addressing the residents of Prem Nagar and Badhavad villages in Hisar district after redressing their grievances. During the interaction, he announced several development initiatives. He announced the construction of a gymnasium in Badhawad village, upgrading of water infrastructure and construction of a community centre building.

The Deputy Chief Minister said government school of the village would be named after martyr Omprakash. Similarly, he announced construction of an additional water tank for adequate water supply at Dhani Prem Nagar village. The Deputy Chief Minister also announced the construction of a digital library at Bheri Akbarpur village and the ‘Phirni’ of the village.

He said the state government was continuously taking concrete steps for raising the level of education. In this direction, a digital library would also be established in this village. Fulfilling the demand of appointing veterinary doctors at the village veterinary hospital, he said the result of the recruitment of VLDA doctors had been declared and soon the doctors would be appointed at the hospitals of the state.

The Deputy CM said excellent work was being done by the state government for the development of every section and area. Many schemes had been implemented to empower women and make them self-reliant. In addition, 50 per cent participation had been ensured in Panchayati Raj institutions. Many commendable works had also been done for improving the condition of farmers.

He said 14 crops were being purchased at the minimum support price, while 18 fruits and vegetables had also been included in the Bhavantar Compensation Scheme. Earlier, the farmers had to stay in mandis for many days to sell their crops, but today not only were the crops being purchased immediately, but the money from the crop sale was directly reaching the bank accounts of the farmers.
