Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar: Governance associates have their task cut out

Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has said young professional associates in the CM’s Good Governance Associates Programme (CMGGA) will make efforts to improve governance as per priorities of the state government.

“Good governance associates will help the government deliver benefits of welfare policies to persons living on the margins,” he said while addressing the sixth cohort of the CMGGA here today.

The CM said: “The government’s main target is to ensure a monthly income of Rs 10,000 to each of the 1 lakh poor families identified under the Parivar Pehchan Patra. Six departments — Local Bodies, Labour, Skill Development, Industrial Training, Health and MSME — are working together to make this happen.”

He further said the government’s priority was to create employment and self-employment opportunities for every family by 2024. “Nuh district needs a positive transformation in the field of education, health and employment.”

Khattar said good governance associates should make efforts to implement constructive thoughts for the welfare of society. — TNS
