Gurugram STF arrests aide of Lawrence Bishnoi gang

‘Made’ fake passports with forged documents

The Special Task Force (STF), Gurugram, nabbed a man for allegedly making fake passports with forged documents for members of Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

He was nabbed from Faridabad road on Friday evening when he was on the way to meet gang members. An FIR has been registered at the DLF Phase 1 police station.

The police said the accused, Raju Nepali, was a native of Nepal who was staying in the DLF Phase 1 area. The STF has taken him on four-day police remand after producing him in a city court.

As per the complaint filed by ASI Sunil Kumar of the STF, Raju Nepali works for gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang. On the basis of fake documents, the gangster and other accomplices get passports made through Nepali. Nepali, along with his friend in Delhi, used to get documents of fake identity prepared.

“During the investigation, the STF team found a passport form of Samar Singh, a resident of Chakkarpur, and a slip of appointment letter for online passport of Jaspal Singh, a resident of Maruti Kunj, Bhondsi. Jaspal is a native of Punjab and he is currently on bail and the address of Maruti Kunj, Bhondsi, was also found to be fake,” the ASI said in his complaint.

Following the complaint, an FIR has been registered against Nepali under Sections 419, 420, 467, 468, 471, 120-B of the IPC at the DLF phase-1 police station.

“The accused revealed that he provided fake passports to around 10 criminals who fled from India after committing crimes. They are currently staying in Dubai, Canada and Thailand from where they operate criminal activities. The process of cancellation of these passports will be started soon,” said a senior police officer of the STF.
