Ambala: Fog affects 70 trains

As foggy conditions continued to prevail, several trains, including the Vande Bharat Express and Shatabdi, were running late by up to 10 hours on Friday, causing inconvenience to the passengers.

Nearly 70 trains were affected under the Ambala division. The New Delhi-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Vande Bharat Express (22477) was rescheduled and it was running late by one hour. Similarly, the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-New Delhi Vande Bharat (22478) and the Amritsar-New Delhi Shatabdi (12014) were late by around 1.5 hours.

The Chandigarh-New Delhi Shatabdi (12046) was running late by over 3.5 hours; Amritsar-Nanded Sachkhand Express (12716) was rescheduled by over four hours and it was running late by seven hours; and New Delhi-Amritsar Shan-e-Punjab Express (12497) was running late by four hours.
