Various farmers’ organisations holding dharna in Hisar, Charkhi Dadri, Jind and Fatehabad districts paid tributes to the youth farmer activist Shubhkaran Singh, who had died in the clash with the police at the Khanauri Data Singh Wala border in Jind district on February 22.

Pagri Sambhal Jatta Kisan Sangharsh Samiti, which has been holding pucca morcha at the mini-secretariat in Hisar organised a condolence meeting at the dharna site today. Sandeep Siwach, state general secretary of the Samiti, demanded a fair inquiry into the alleged murder of Shubhkaran Singh.

The farmer activists said the police had unleashed atrocities on the innocent farmer activists.
