District officers can now apply for PM awards

The administrative officers of Haryana can now apply for ‘Prime Minister Awards for Excellence in Public Administration-2021’. The applications can be filled from January 20 to February 4.

An official spokesperson said the PMO had decided to award the annual awards for excellence in public administration this year on the basis of new themes.

In these subjects, the work of the government officials will be evaluated for awards based on Poshan Abhiyan, Khelo India, PM Svanidhi Yojana, Ek Jila Ek Utpad Yojana (one district-one product) and delivery of services and innovation without human intervention.

Under this award, a trophy, scroll and an incentive of Rs 20 lakh will be given. He said the four schemes that had been selected for evaluating the performance of officers in the districts were among the top priorities of the PM.
