Dhankhar releases book on govt’s achievements

Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar today released a book titled ‘Nine Incredible Years of Haryana Government: Emergence of a New and Vibrant Haryana’ at Surajkund here.

The book highlights the state government’s accomplishments over nine years and has been published in Hindi and English languages. Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and state Governor Bandaru Dattatreya were also present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Vice-President Dhankhar said, “Reforming the system was not easy in view of the hurdles that often tend to oppose the move at any point of time.” He lauded the efforts made by the state government and said CM Khattar worked on the policies while taking into account all aspects in pursuing the task of systemic transformation.

He said a transparent, accountable and honest recruitment process adopted by Haryana had been a topic of discussion nationwide, adding that the state had excelled in numerous fields, including agriculture, sports and defence.

The CM said the book encapsulated the perspectives of individuals occupying various positions in variousfields.
