Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala inaugurates PWD rest house in Palwal

Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala inaugurated a rest house of the Public Works Department at Mandkola village of Hathin subdivision in the district on Sunday. It has been built at a cost of Rs 3.94 crore.

He also laid the foundation stone of the road connecting national highway with the industrial area of Prithla and the approach road to the railway station of Palwal city to be built at a cumulative cost of Rs 2.34 crore. He said these projects would be completed in six months.

Chautala said the construction of the rest house would benefit visitors in the area, especially staff on official tours and work related to development schemes.

He claimed that the government had been focused on carrying out development programmes in every sector and these projects were being carried out without any political discrimination or biasedness.

He announced that the road between Palwal and Nuh was being widened to four lanes at a cost of Rs 137 crore. He added that the work of repairing ‘chaupals’ in villages had also been going on in the state at a cost of Rs 200 crore.

“Around 1,600 ponds across the state have already been cleaned and 2,500 ponds will be cleaned by the end of this year,” said the Deputy CM.
