Covid-19: 91 students, 2 teachers test positive in Haryana

As many as 91 students, including 83 rom Kunjpura Sainik School, have tested positive for Covid on Wednesday. Earlier, 57 students had tested positive for the virus.

Civil Surgeon Dr Yogesh Sharma said the students had tested negative earlier but after the test was repeated after seven days, they tested positive on Wednesday.

“Almost all students are asymptomatic and their health is being monitored,” said the Civil Surgeon, adding that two teachers, one from the same school, also tested positive. Besides, a doctor and three drivers of a school have also tested positive for the virus, he said.

Meanwhile, DC Nishant Kumar Yadav directed the officials to increase testing and also ensure strict enforcement to Covid guidelines.
