Rohtak, January 30

BJP national secretary Om Prakash Dhankhar has accused former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and his son and Rajya Sabha MP Deepender Hooda of shedding crocodile tears to get people’s sympathy.

Addressing a gathering at the inauguration of the BJP’s Lok Sabha election office here today, Dhankhar said, “Eight Assembly segments in the Rohtak Lok Sabha seat would have got additional grants of Rs 500 crore each, had the BJP candidates won from the seats.”

Dhankhar said Deepender “got bed-ridden” during the Lok Sabha poll campaign in 2014 and urged people to take “revenge” after being defeated by BJP’s Arvind Sharma in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. The BJP leader even mimicked Deepender while making the remarks.
