Chandigarh, July 31
Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has said that the state government has been running about 50 schemes and programmes through the Chief Minister’s Good Governance Associates (CMGGAs) for the welfare of deprived classes in the state. These schemes have directly benefited the needy across the state.

The CM said this while addressing a convocation ceremony of the sixth batch of the CMGGA programme here today. On the successful completion of the one-year experiential learning programme, Khattar also awarded certificates to the associates.
The CM also released CMGGA’s annual magazine “Durbeen”. Besides, a booklet based on CMGGA’s research work “An Outlook for Change” and a booklet named “Strengthening Welfare Delivery in Haryana” based on the welfare schemes framed by CMGGAs were also released.
The CM said young associates were performing a commendable job while cooperating with the government to successfully implement welfare schemes at the grassroots level. He said implementing schemes like Parivar Pehchan Patra, Mukhya Mantri Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Yojana would not have been possible without the work of associates.
