Campus of Sri Krishna Ayush University to come up at Fatupur village in Kurukshetra

Haryana Governor and Chancellor Bandaru Dattatreya, on Thursday, said the new campus of Sri Krishna Ayush University would be built on 103 acres at Fatupur village in Kurukshetra.

An amount of Rs 500 crore will be spent by the government for the construction of the new building and a target has been set to complete the construction work in the next 36 months.

The Governor was speaking at a programme organised by the university administration on the premises of Sri Krishna Ayush University. He along with Thanesar MLA Subhash Sudha, Vice- Chancellor Dr Baldev Dhiman, Deputy Commissioner Mukul Kumar and other officers also inspected the state-of-the-art ayurvedic lab and planted a sapling on the campus.

Bandaru Dattatreya praised the university for the work done during the Covid pandemic, new research works and the progress in the past five years.

The Governor directed the officials to ensure that the building was prepared within the stipulated time frame. He also directed the university administration to prepare a plan to increase the number of ayurvedic colleges.
