Home Minister Anil Vij today issued directions for the registration of a case against the tehsildar of Kaithal for allegedly seeking bribe for the demarcation of a land in Harsola village of Kaithal.

The minister was listening to public grievances at his residence. A complainant from Kaithal said he had applied to the tehsildar for the demarcation of his land. The complainant alleged that he had given money for the work and during demarcation, he was beaten up by a nearby farm owner and his associates.

Anil Vij directed SP Kaithal to register a case against the tehsildar and submit a report in this regard.

Another complainant from Kaithal made allegations of misappropriation of crores of rupees at a primary agriculture credit society (PACS) and claimed that the staff and officials were involved in this matter, but no action was being taken.
