Anil Vij: Will ensure peace in Haryana

Given the farmers’ call for a march to Delhi on February 13, Home Minister Anil Vij today said the government would ensure complete peace in the state and would not let it to be disrupted in any way.

“We have requested forces from the Centre and measures will be taken to maintain peace in the state,” he added. Vij was responding to media queries on the farmers’ march.

On a question about conferring the Bharat Ratna on former Prime Ministers Chaudhary Charan Singh, PV Narasimha Rao and agricultural scientist Dr MS Swaminathan, he said, “Those who were ignored by previous governments, the BJP has honoured them.”
