Abhishek grabs top spot in 1,500m race at varsity meet

Maharshi Valmiki Sanskriti University, Mundri, in Kaithal district organised its second annual sports meet.

Girls shine

In the girls’ shot put event, Geeta Rani, Kamlesh and Meena grabbed the first three spots, respectively

Students participated in different games and displayed their talent. In the boys’ 1,500 m race event, Abhishek bagged the first position, while Bhanu secured the second rank.

Similarly, in girls’ high jump event, Priyanka and Pooja claimed the first and second spots, respectively.

In boys’ shot put game, Rahul clinched the first rank, while Ravi and Mukul claimed the second and third positions.

In the girls’ shot put event, Geeta Rani, Kamlesh and Meena grabbed the first three spots, respectively.

Yashveer Singh, head of department of dharmashastra at Lal Bahadur Shastri University, Delhi, was invited as the chief guest.

Vice-Chancellor Prof Ramesh Chander Bhardwaj shared a brief report on the university’s sports activities and highlighted the students’ achievements.
