7 from Gurugram selected for Youth Boxing World Cup

Seven youth from Gurugram district would participate in the Youth Boxing World Cup 2024 to be held at Budva in Montenegro, Europe, from March 5 to March 11. The competition would feature 13 weight categories for boys and 12 for girls born in 2006 and 2007. Among the boys’, Jayant Dagar (57 kg category), Yashvardhan Singh (63.5 kg category), Rupesh Soni (75 kg category), Chirag Sharma (80 kg category) and Lakshay Rathi (92 plus category) would participate in it.

Among the girls, Himani and Kanishk would participate in the 54 kg and 63 kg categories, respectively.
