525 NIFTEM students get degrees

Union Minister of State (Ministry of Food Processing Industries) Prahlad Singh Patel while congratulating students on the fourth convocation of National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTM), encouraged them to become agents of moral revolution.

On behalf of PM Narendra Modi, Patel congratulated 525 students while conferring degrees on them.

He also congratulated NIFTEM for getting Institute of National Importance (INI) status. Patel honoured 19 students with PhD degrees during the convocation. Union Minister of State Prahlad Singh Patel honoured 14 students, who excelled in various academic sessions, with gold medals.

Earlier, NIFTEM Vice-Chancellor Dr Chindi Vasudevappa, while presenting the annual report of the institute, congratulated the students and gave information about the activities and achievements of the year.
