Yamunanagar, September 27

Three persons have been booked for allegedly carving out an unauthorised colony on agricultural land in Naugaon Jagir of Yamunanagar district.

On the complaint of Yamunanagar District Town Planner Amit Madholia, a case was registered against Biru Ram, Navneet Aggarwal and Goldy Aggarwal, all residents of Naugaon Jagir village, under Section 74 of the Haryana Development and Regulation of Urban Area Act, 1975, at the Buria police station on Wednesday.

The DTP said they received information that an unauthorised colony was being developed by dividing agricultural land into plots in Naugaon Jagir village.

“When our team members checked the spot, they found that the accused were carving out an unauthorised colony and promoting unauthorised construction on the agricultural land by constructing roads and dividing that land into plots for residential and commercial purposes in violation of rules,” Madholia added.
