2 booked for duping man on pretext of jobs for nephews

Ambala: The police have booked Vicky and Vikram Tandon of Ambala for allegedly duping Sikandar, a civic body member from Narwana, Jind district, of Rs 12 lakh on the pretext of arranging jobs in Haryana Police for his nephews. Vicky assured to arrange jobs through Vikram and sought Rs 12 lakh. Money was given in cash in December 2020. Vikram had given a cheque of Rs 10 lakh as surety, which got bounced. The accused failed to arrange jobs and refund money to Sikander.
