When Amrish Puri's grandson and actor Vardhan Puri missed Ganesha

Ganesh Chaturthi holds special significance for actor Vardhan Puri and his family. Vardhan is paternal grandson of veteran Bollywood actor, Amrish Puri.

“We share a very deeply rooted connection with Ganpati Bappa. We have been getting Him home for many years and each year becomes more special than the last,” shared Vardhan who was shooting in London through the festivities. “I was honestly very emotional as this is the first time I wasn’t home during my favourite festival. I experienced major FOMO.” he admits.

He Facetimed to catch up the festivities. While he’s all for Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, it’s post visarjan day, that breaks his heart. “I hope we don’t make mockery of the special day by polluting and causing destruction. We must celebrate responsibly for times to come.”
