Rhea Chakraborty’s call records under CBI scanner; shows multiple calls to 'AU'

Rhea Chakraborty’s call records have come under CBI scanner. 

The call details record (CDR) show that the actress has made several calls to an unknown person with "AU" initials. 

Accessed by Times Now, her call records show, that Chakraborty has received 17 calls from "AU" and made 44 phone calls to an unknown person.  

One of those calls were made on June 13—a day before Sushant Singh Rajput's death and another on June 15.

Rhea, who is accused of abetting boyfriend Rajput's alleged suicide, on Monday filed a fresh plea in the Supreme Court complaining about “unfair media trial” and "attempts to pronounce her guilty of the death of the actor”.

The 28-year-old had earlier filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking transfer of a police case lodged against her by Rajput’s father from the Bihar police to the Mumbai police. The apex court is scheduled to hear the plea tomorrow.

In her 11-page affidavit, Chakraborty said that she should not be made "scapegoat of political agendas" in the Rajput's death case and alleged that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is "reported to be responsible for registration of FIR in Patna" against her.

She also alleged that the case is being “blown out of proportion in the media" in the wake of the upcoming Bihar Assembly election," causing extreme trauma and infringement of privacy of her rights due to the "constant sensationalisation", reported.

Sushant Singh Rajput, 34, was found hanging at his apartment in suburban Bandra in Mumbai on June 14. Rajput, 34, was found hanging from the ceiling of his apartment in suburban Bandra in Mumbai on June 14 and since then Mumbai Police has been probing the case keeping in mind various angles.

 The FIR in Patna has been registered against Chakraborty and others for alleged offences under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including 306 (abetment of suicide), 341 (punishment for wrongful restraint), 342 (punishment for wrongful confinement), 380 (theft in dwelling house), 406 (punishment for criminal breach of trust) and 420 (Cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property. — With PTI
