How has been your professional journey so far?

It’s been great. In fact, I have worked for almost all top GEC channels. I started in 2001 with the show Pradhanmantri, then did Love Marriage for Zee TV, Ganga for &TV, Diya Aur Baati Hum for Star Plus, Yudh for Sony TV, Udaan for Colors. I am thankful for all the love that I have been receiving from viewers.

You have been a part of many Balaji shows. How long has been your association with them?

My latest show, Naagin 4 is my seventh show with Balaji Telefilms. I was offered the show when I was already doing a show by the name Haiwaan with Balaji. Our association goes a long way back. I started working with Balaji in Kutumb in 2001. I have done Kasauti Zindagi Kay, Kahi Toh Milenge, Qayamat, Mahabharat… and more.

What is your role in Naagin 4?

I am playing Aakash Parekh, Vijayendra Kumeria’s father. He is a very honest and loyal human being and at the same time, he is very strict in terms of morals and values. Naagin is quite a big show and Geetanjali Tikekar is playing my wife.

We hear you had some issues with Rajan Shahi and had to leave Yeh Rishta Kya Rehlata Hai. Will you work with him again?

Why not? I am just a call away for him. There are no permanent enemies in this industry. We both know what happened and why. It happened due to some reason. I have no hard feelings, we are sorted and we are there for each other. I really loved working with the team.
