Chandigarh, February 15

Clarifying her displeasure over the recent collaboration of actor Ranveer Singh on an advertisement with porn star Johnny Sins, television actor Rashami Desai said she has a problem with the advert content and not Ranveer Singh.

“It is not about Ranveer Singh. I do not want any complications. My words are clear,” she said in an interview, adding that in television, we have never shown such things. “People always make a mockery of the small screen, but they come to TV when they need to promote (films). TV has the biggest reach, but it is also demeaned the most. There is no respectful balance. I felt bad because I have been working here.”

She slammed the ad by posting an Instagram story that read: “This all happens on big screen. And there is nothing wrong in showing the reality but this a reality check for the entire TV industry because I feel it is a slap.”
