'Ishq Chakallas' starring Anshumaan Pushkar, Mukti Mohan and Zeishan Qadri is ready to roll

'Ishq Chakallas' is a romantic comedy film set in a small town starring an ensemble cast including Anshumaan Pushkar, Mukti Mohan, Zeishan Quadri, Rajesh Sharma, Dipika Chikhlia, Asif Khan, Monica Sharma among others. Helmed by Hupu Ashok Yadav and produced by Kevin Johnson and Nupur Chandrakar of Green Apple Films, 'Ishq Chakallas' tells the tale of two chaotic individuals who find love in the most unlikely situations. Its executive producer is Mayank Johri.

Producer Kevin Johnson, Anshumaan Pushkar, director Hupu Ashok Yadav, Mukti Mohan and co-producer Nupur Chandrakar.

The film is set to go on floors in next few weeks and the shooting will take place in Madhya Pradesh and Chattishgarh. The music will be composed by Vishal Mishra and Raj Shekhar. 

With a dedicated Instagram, the team made an official announcement on the social media handle:

Sharing about the film, director Hupu Ashok Yadav says,"The film is titled 'Ishq Chakallas' is a romantic comedy set in a small town of India. We are exploring the idea of love in its purest form and its variant shades. Our team has being prepping since the last couple of months and everybody is pumped to take this project on floors. We are also working with the actors to bring their characters to life."

He further adds,"We are excited to bring a combination of talents and Mukti and Anshumaan, I am sure, will create magic on screen. The rest of the cast has also been carefully selected. All I can say is one should definitely expect a full-fledged entertainer that an Indian family can sit and enjoy together."

Producer Kevin Johnson shares his vision for backing this story. He says,"It’s very interesting for me to get involved in a story about love. It is a fresh and authentic script that can be taken to the masses. It is essentially a romantic comedy set in a small town of India. I have had an absolute pleasure being associated with the ensemble cast. We have got an interesting mix of talent for the film."

The film will release next year in theaters.
