Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar have their first dance as man and wife

The couple groove on many peppy songs including ‘Dil chahta hai’

Bollywood couple Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar are now man and wife. They got married in presence of close friends and family at Javed Akhtar’s farmhouse in Khandala on Saturday. Their wedding ceremony saw many Bollywood stars in attendance. According to reports, Farhan made an entry on ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ song ‘Sooraj ki baahon mein’. On the special day, a happy father Javed Akhtar recited a poem that he wrote for his son and daughter-in-law.

There is also a video from the occasion doing the rounds on the Internet. In the clip, the newly wedded couple can be seen dancing to ‘Dil chahta hai’ song. Farhan and Shibani are joined by Hrithik Roshan, Shabana Azmi, Farah Khan and other guests as Shankar Mahadevan sings. The dance evening had many other peppy songs including ‘Gallan Goodiyaan’ from ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’.

The bride and groom also performed on ‘All of me’ by John Legend. Musical trio Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy even sang ‘Tum Ho Toh’ from Farhan’s Rock On!

Among those who attended the intimate wedding are Amrita Arora, Rhea Chakraborty, Ritesh Sidhwani, Ashutosh Gowariker, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra.

Farhan and Shibani will reportedly have a court marriage on February 21, following which they will host a reception for their celebrity friends.
