Amitabh Bachchan’s star-studded throwback is priceless

Featuring himself with legends Shatrughan Sinha, Dharmendra, Prem Chopra, and Jeetendra in a single frame, the star says such moments are rare nowadays

On Saturday, megastar Amitabh Bachchan was in a throwback mood. The active Instagram user that he is, he took his fans by surprise when he shared a monochrome picture from his younger days. A shot from the ’60s, including him, it features Shatrughan Sinha, Dharmendra, Prem Chopra and Jeetendra. Reliving that time of his life, Big B captioned it, “Jeetendra .. Dharmendra .. Prem Chopra .. Shatrughan Sinha .. and moi .. aajkal aise jamghat bahut kam dekhne ko milte hain .."

This priceless memory featuring all the legends in one frame had over 2 lakh likes within a few hours of being posted. The comment section was understandably flooded with a string of emoticons. Amitabh Bachchan’s Instafam was all praise for the post. While one user wrote, “all legends in one frame” another said, “what a shot”. A comment read, “Best pic ever.” “Golden memories”, wrote another fan.

Last week too, the 78-year-old star shared a throwback picture from his first film with wife Jaya Bachchan ‘Bansi and Birju’.  He wrote, “…. our first film together .. ‘Bansi aur Birju ‘ .. released Sept 1, 1970 .. that’s 49 years ago !!!"

 Busy hosting the popular quiz-reality show Kaun Banega Crorepati 13, Big B’s upcoming films include 'Brahmastra' co-starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhat, sports drama ‘Jhund’, ‘Mayday’ and ‘Intern’ co-starring Deepika Padukone.
