Akhil Katyal's poem 'Ek Shahrukh mein pura Hindustan basta hai' goes viral as celebrities and fans agree with the poet

On October 3, Superstar Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan was arrested after the Narcotics Control Bureau conducted a surprise raid on a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast. The NCB claimed to have recovered drugs from some persons. In these difficult times, since Aryan’s arrest, SRK’s fans and well-wishers have express their love and solidarity for the actor by trending hashtags like ‘I Stand With SRK’, ‘With SRK’, I Stand With Aryan Khan’. There is now a poem on Shah Rukh Khan written by Akhil Katyal that has become a rage on the internet. Praising SRK for the diverse roles he has played over the year, Akhil says the entire nation resides in Shah Rukh Khan and his fans cannot agree more. The poem that has gone viral reads, “Wo kabhi Rahul hai, kabhi Raj Kabhi Charlie toh kabhi Max Surinder bhi wo, Harry bhi wo Devdas bhi our Veer bhi Ram, Mohan, Kabir bhi Wo Amar hai, Samar hai Rizwan, Raees, Jehangir bhi. Shayad isliye kuch logon ke halak mein fasta hai, Ki ek Shahrukh mein pura Hindustan basta hai."

Shah Rukh Khan’s friends and colleagues, who have extended support to King Khan and his family as they live through this rough phase in life. Jumping on the bandwagon are Swara Bhaskar, Neeraj Ghaywan and Kanika Dhillon. Sharing the poem on her Twitter account, Kanika expressed, “Yassss …how beautifully n aptly put… ek Shahrukh mein poora Hindustan basta hai!” she tweeted.

Filmmaker Neeraj Ghaywan who also retweeted Akhil’s poem wrote lyrics of the Dil Se title songs, “Bandhan Hai Rishton Mein, Kaaton Ki Taarein Hain, Patthar Ke Darwaaze Deewaarein, Belein Phir Bhi Ugti Hain, Aur Guchchhe Bhi Khilte Hain, Aur Chalte Hain Afsaane, Kirdaar Bhi Milte Hain, Vo Rishtey Dil Dil Dil Thay,” and concluded the post with ‘Love you @iamsrk! Dil se’.

Swara Bhaskar too shared the poem with a heart and sparkle emoji as a sign of support to SRK.

Filmmaker Ajitabha Bose wrote on Twitter, “Everything will be okay soon. Very soon. We srkians will always stand with you.”

Sayani Gupta’s word of support were, “With you. Always in solidarity,”

Celebs including Hansal Mehta, Shekhar Kapur, Sussanne Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Pooja Bhatt and Sanjay Gupta have offered support to SRK and his family on social platforms. Salman Khan was among the first ones to visit Mannat after the arrest of Aryan. Even Gauri’s close friends Maheep Kapoor, Neelam Kothari, Seema Khan visited the Khan family to express support.  

Aryan Khan is currently in judicial custody and lodged at the Arthur Road prison in Mumbai. A special court will hear the bail application of Aryan Khan on Wednesday. Earlier, the hearing was scheduled for Monday.
