Show comments

Which was your last TV show?

My last TV show was Meri Gudiya on Star Bharat, which was appreciated by many but got pulled off due to the pandemic. I feel fortunate and blessed that people actually loved the show and my character of that of a businessman.

Why are you so selective about your work?

I am very selective about my work or any project, as I need to creatively understand the content and the character. I should get convinced enough to play it, so that I can convince the audience and make others believe in it. Being choosy is not a bad thing.

The industry has gone through a lot of changes during the pandemic. Your comment...

The industry has gone through a lot of ups and downs due to the pandemic, and my show was affected by it too. I am sure in our industry many people survive on a daily basis and there are a lot of daily-wagers. I just wish for their good.

What is the best thing about the industry?

Name and fame; people look up to you not only as a celebrity, but as a performer, artiste and entertainer.

What is the worst thing about the industry?

I don’t really see the bad side of the industry. There’s always good in everything if you look hard enough. Everyone has a different perception. I have a very clear vision towards it that I am here to work.

Would you do Bigg Boss if offered?

Every year you see Bigg Boss has a different concept, so it all depends when a concrete offer comes my way. I would definitely give it a try.

What are your ambitions at this stage of your career?

I want to go for web series. I want to grow and live different characters on screen.
