Vote for double-engine govt of BJP: Vashisht

Mohali, February 18

The roadshow of BJP candidate from Mohali Sanjeev Vashisht started from Phase 10 and after passing through Phase 9, 8, 7 and 5, culminated at Balongi village.

Many BJP leaders, including Haryana Speaker Gian Chand Gupta, Haryana Sports Minister Sandeep Singh and actor Mahi Gill, accompanied the BJP candidate in the roadshow.

Vashisht said people of Punjab had made up their mind to vote for the double-engine government of the BJP. The people had tried parties like the Congress, AAP and the Akali Dal, and now, they had put their faith in PM Modi which was evident from the huge response to this roadshow.

Vashisht said as Congress candidate Balbir Sidhu was repeatedly accused of occupying village panchayat lands and urban land, his defeat was certain this time.

Meanwhile, businessman Vivek Kapoor said Vashisht raised the need for more international flights from Mohali which would prove to be oxygen for the local industries. RS Chibber said it would prove to be a boon for industries having business in the US, Canada and Europe.

Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri’s had yesterday said more international flights to countries in North America and Europe would be started from Mohali soon.
